The Old Fashioned. It’s classic, it’s manly, it’s delicious. In this recipe, replace the sugar cube with our Cascara Vanilla. The notes of dark cherry from the cascara husk pair beautifully with rich bourbon and the Vanilla adds the right amount sweetness.
- 2oz Canyon Diablo Grand Canyon Bourbon (also try with Whiskey or Cognac)
- 3-4 drops of Dram Palo Santo Bitters
- Orange slice
- 2 Cherries
- Super cube
-Add Bourbon and Cascara Vanilla with ice.
-Stir 10-15 seconds.
-Using a Hawthorne strainer, hold back ice and fruit. Strain into a rocks glass with a super cube.
-Garnish with an orange twist.
