This recipe was our first place winner of our Lavender Flower Recipe Contest! A special shout out to the creator, Heather, for making a fun and beautiful cocktail.
- 2 oz gin
- 3/4 oz Iconic Lavender Flower
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz aquafaba (chickpea juice, to act as the perfect vegan egg white!)
- small bar spoon luxardo cherry syrup (if desired).
- a couple dashes of sour cherry or brandied cherry bitters
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Dry shake without ice first for about 15-20 seconds to get the aquafaba nice and frothy. Then add ice and shake vigorously for another 20 seconds or so until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a sprig of fresh lavender and swirl of cherry syrup or bitters, and you’re ready to sip away in your summer garden.
