A great way to do this is to hit up your neighborhood farmers market. At Phoenix Public Market, you can find everything for your holiday recipes and probably find a gift or two! For this recipe, we picked up a shrub from our friends at Shrubwell and fresh basil from Blue Sky Organic Farm.

Made all local prickly pear and fresh lemon, Prickly Pear Sour mixer transforms this cocktail into a Pink Christmas. With a splash of Shrubwell’s Strawberry Basil Peppercorn, all the red fruit notes come out to play with a bright tartness.
Getting creative the garnish is one of our favorite things to do. A simple strawberry cut in half dipped in pink peppercorn makes this cocktail festive and you get bursts of bright peppercorn as you drink.
Cactus Christmas Daiquiri
- 2oz OHSO #Rum
- 1oz Iconic Prickly Pear Sour
- 1/2oz Shrubwell Strawberry Basil Peppercorn Shrub
- 1oz Sparkling Water
- Strawberry half
- 1 teaspoon of pink peppercorn
-Combine all in a glass with ice
-Stir gently to combine
-Garnish with basil and strawberry half dipped in crushed pink peppercorn
