Spirit-Free Cocktails, Mocktails, Zero-Proofs, NAs. No matter what you name them, it’s a drink for when you’re not drinking. We know this Dry January is extra stressful but bookmark these recipes for whenever you're skipping the spirit.
We put together some fresh recipes featuring Seedlip’s Non-Alcoholic Distilled Spirits. This London brand has expanded their reach making it far more attainable to get a quality NA distilled spirit. These flavors are complex, flavorful, and classy AF.
Adding these spirits to your home bar will allow your NA cocktails to shine. Paired with Iconic Mixers, you’re just moments away from having an elegant cocktail without spirit for Dry January or any other time you’re not drinking.
We highly recommend exploring the Seedlip Collection but if you can’t get your hands on Seedlip, try a strongly brewed tea or water with food-grade essential oils!
A Ramos Gin Fizz With all the Show and No Buzz
Inspired by the Ramos Gin Fizz, we are crafting an Orange Fizz sans the spirit with Iconic Bitter Orange Tonic and Seedlip Grove 42. To match a Ramos Fizz, we are adding cream and egg white to achieve a sturdy head. Take a few extra steps when composing this NA cocktail for the full experience!
Orange Sans Fizz
-Combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice and dry shake
-Add ice and shake again until chilled
-Double strain into a tall glass (without ice)
-Top with enough sparkling water to create a delicious mountain of fizz.
A Spirit-Free Moscow Mule with a Kick
It doesn’t have to be all or nothing when making a spirit-free cocktail. Why take the experience out of craft cocktails? If you’re making a NA cocktail that resembles a Moscow Mule, then put it in the mule mug! Go all out. Make it feel special and it will taste even better. We’re using Iconic Ginga Syrup with Seedlip Spice 64 to recreate a spicy mule. A touch of Meyer Lemon Balm adds a wonderful citrus element to this complex combination of flavors
Null or Nothing
-Combine all in a mule mug with a splash of sparkling water
-Garnish with lime wedge and ginger candy
A Citrusy Simple Sour Recipe
When you open a bottle of Iconic Meyer Lemon Balm, you’ll immediately be hit with a wave of fresh citrus aromas. Organic Meyer Lemons from McClendon’s farm is truly the star of this flavor. Zested peel and fresh juice are complemented with the herbal lemon balm. We’re using this flavor to create a simple sour with Seedlip Garden 108 and a sprig of rosemary. Altogether, this spirit-free cocktail is like a stroll through the orchard.
A Stroll in the Orchard
-Combine in a shaker with ice
-Shake until chilled
-Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a rosemary sprig
