At Iconic, we are always making conscious decisions that have less of an impact on our landfills. We use a compostable straw, recycle by-products, and we're proud of our glass bottle. Here's a perfect way to skip a trip to Starbucks.
We recreated the Starbuck's Cold Foam Cascara Cold Brew with our Cascara Vanilla coffee mixer. This recipe is also a great way to support locally owned businesses here in Arizona. Our Cascara Vanilla mixer was made in collaboration with a local coffee company, Blue House Coffee Goods. Blue House sources a sustainable cascara that makes this mixer unique. We use REAL ingredients in our mixers which is something you just don't find in artificially flavored simple syrups. Try it for yourself!
ICONIC COLD FOAM CASCARA COLD BREW
Step 1: Make some cold brew. Do a 4:1 ratio of ground coffee wrapped in a filter and add to cold water. Soak in the fridge for 24 hours. Remove coffee when the strength is to your liking.
Step 2: Make the Cascara Cold Foam. Add 1oz of Iconic Cascara Vanilla to about 4oz of 2% milk to a french press. Quickly pump the press to add air to your milk. This will create bubbles and give you a silky foam flavored with familiar vanilla and notes of tart cherry.
Step 3: Build your drink. Add cold brew to a glass with enough room to add the foam. For more bubbles, carefully spoon the foam on top.
Step 4: Garnish your drink with a line of raw sugar.
